yes. a clove holds exactly two people, and your moments are visible only to your linked person. there’s no public feed, no discovery, no followers — no public anything.
does clove track my location?
no. journeys send a feeling of motion — ‘heading home’, ‘made it safe’ — never coordinates. there’s no map, no pin, no tracking.
what do i need to start?
an iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and one person you’d like to keep close. iPad works too. your code is ready the moment you open the app.
can we be more than two?
a clove is made for two on purpose. but you can keep separate cloves — one for your person, one for your best friend, one for mom — and each widget picks who it shows.
is there an android version?
not yet. clove leans deep on iPhone widgets, lock-screen widgets, and live activities. android is a question we’re still weighing honestly.
my widget isn’t updating?
allow notifications for clove — that’s how moments arrive — and check that your widget’s person picker points at your person. missed moments quietly catch up on their own.
